VP, Sales
Reporting
directly to the President, the Vice President of Sales will be
responsible for developing, managing, and guiding sales activities for
the Company. The VP, Sales will propose and execute policies and
programs to achieve maximum sales-volume potential for products and
services, and will design and apply the Company’s sales strategy and
sales plan.
Responsibilities:
- Define
and manage the annual and monthly sales objectives for all sales
personnel, in coordination with the Company’s business plan.
- Provide an annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications.
- Coordinate
specific sales plan objectives with Company departments, especially
Product Development, Publisher Development, and Finance.
- Coordinate with President to establish market and target customer strategies.
- Manage
customer needs in order to meet Company’s overall business plan and
strategic goals, including spending time in the field as needed.
- Hire and manage Account Executives and Account Directors and customer support functions.
- Coordinate
with President and Finance to establish compensation plans for all
sales personnel, including salary structures, commission plans, sales
contests, bonus plans, etc.
Requirements:
- 7+ years senior-level sales management experience.
- 10-15 years advertising sales-industry experience, with a focus on branded clients, sponsorships, and agencies.
- Bachelor’s (B.A./B.S.) degree.
- Highly computer literate, and familiar with sales database tracking programs.
- Deep, current knowledge of social-media and web 2.0 market/industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- Creative and flexible leadership qualities with both customers and employees.
- Highly organized and efficient, with effective time-management and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred,
but not mandatory: experience with web-based, mobile, and broadcast
technologies and systems and cross-platform interactivity.

Reporting
directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Vice President of
Technology will actively participate in defining the Company's
strategic and product vision.
Responsibilities:
- Establish
consistent engineering principles and procedures, coordinate integrated
software releases, and provide guidance on best practices and
engineering-problem resolution throughout the Company.
- Evaluate
proposed designs and architecture, for feasibility of design and
sustainability under long-term development and support efforts.
- Hire, mentor, and develop a strong engineering and development staff.
- Closely coordinate with engineering team members to gather, define, and document product and solution requirements.
- Build strong relationships with customers, and provide contact point for technical discussions.
Requirements:

VP, Product Development
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, Product Development will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the direction of the development of the Flux social media platform and Flux.com website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, mentor, and motivate a sizeable product-development organization.
- Manage overall platform-development process from conception to implementation, including:
- Work with the executive staff to set and meet high level business objectives
- Have primary responsibility for developing an overall product vision and communicating it internally and externally
- Create and communicate product requirements, wireframes, flowcharts, statements of work, and functional specifications materials
- Guide development and integration process, including working closely with in-office and offshore technical/development teams
- Closely monitor consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities in the social media and Web 2.0 space.
- Identify and evaluate product aspects of new social-media opportunities for Social Project, including applications and partners.
- Communicate and liaise with Senior Executives, Board of Directors, and strategic corporate partners.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on, professional experience with proven, dynamic, and heavily-trafficked Internet properties (preferably media, social networking, and community functionality).
- Senior-level User Experience (UX) and Product experience in IE Product vision.
- Proven experience leading large product-management teams.
- Deep-enough understanding of web-based technologies and systems, to successfully converse with Technology Team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, design, test, and implement mission-critical web applications on-time and within budget with an emphasis on innovative, consumer-oriented digital entertainment and/or community products.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks, and concerns.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines imposed by rapid business growth, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines.
- Creative leader with strong project-management skills and written/verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor´s degree (B.S./B.A.).
- Advanced degree in Business Administration is a plus.
- Additional education or training in formal product-management practices is highly desired.

Sales Account Executive
The primary responsibility of the Sales Account Executive will be to drive and grow new business revenue with brand advertisers online. Experience in Internet sales or online advertising networks is absolutely required.
You will manage business relationships, to ensure that your clients' needs and requirements are met. You will collaborate with the sales and business development teams to provide your clients with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and options. This is a high-adrenaline, client-facing sales role. You understand and anticipate how decisions are made, and you will persistently explore and uncover your key clients' business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with agencies and clients to discuss online ad opportunities across Social Project's web platform, known as Flux
- Work collaboratively with the online sales and business development teams in a rapidly growing environment, to drive revenue with new and existing customers.
- Develop high-level relationships, acting as a trusted consultant with major customers to optimize their advertising expenditures.
- Prepare periodic business plans, to define sales strategies and tactics.
- Understand and adapt to Social Project's ongoing product and technology developments.
- Manage multiple cross-product opportunities and projects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Internet ad sales or online ad network required.
- An understanding of Web 2.0 / Social Networking industry issues, a vision for growth, and a commitment to Social Project's forward-looking marketplace strategies.
- Strong knowledge of online marketing strategies and tactics, and solid closing ability.
- Solid contacts in the online advertising space.
- College degree.
